“Bigfoot ABC: A Colouring Alphabet”

“Bigfoot ABC: A Colouring Alphabet” is a colouring book. It is also an alphabet, a compendium of Bigfoot-related topics and ephemera from A to Z (or, as my dear friend Anne might say, from A to Zed).

And, if I must say so…why not?

This all came about rather by chance: a sudden burst of inspiration, and an opportunity to present one of cryptozoology’s most famous (or infamous) topics in a manner both approachable and light-hearted.  There is a great deal of information within these pages, much of it gleaned from my years of research and investigation; I have learned much, but there is always more to discover, and to explore. No topic is truly exhausted for the enthusiast.

I daresay my own background is slanted favourably towards cryptids; I was born in Mussoorie, India, the ‘Queen of the Hills’, in the foothills of the Himalayas above Dehra Dun, lush and green. The stories of the Yeti thrilled me as a child; in my youth I became aware of Bigfoot and later the Yeren, the Skunk Ape, and quite memorably, the Grassman. They are all here, of course; I could not overlook such variations upon this theme and they would not have liked it, either.

The Wild Man calls to us; he has many things to tell us, and along our journeys he keeps pace with us, a shadow in the trees. He reminds us of our primitive self, and the natural world: the world as it once was, and might be again, if only we should listen.

“Bigfoot ABC: A Colouring Alphabet” may be purchased online at Amazon.com or through your local, independent booksellers.
