Substantiation of this Report may be provided by the eyewitness testimony of Linda Godfrey and Jane Rodriguez, whom I accompanied to Walworth County; I am not familiar with other persons researching this area of southern Wisconsin.  There are no published reports for Green, Jefferson, Rock, or Walworth Counties on the BFRO website, [1] although two reports each for adjacent Dane and Waukesha Counties are available.[2] [3]  Nonetheless, a cursory review of same suggests considerable activity in this region.

The combination of physical, visual, audible and/or olfactory events described in this Report are:

  1. The numerous large, bare, human-like footprints observed in the mud;
  2. The strange, broken and snapped clump of burdock in the woods;
  3. The large pair of deeply impressed canine tracks in the mud;
  4. The series of wide, bare prints observed in the grass, exposing the ground beneath;
  5. The glimpse of movement in the trees;
  6. The dark shadow, which appeared to move first left, then right;
  7. The utter stillness and quiet, experienced throughout;
  8. The line of broken, crushed grasses leading into the belt of woods;
  9. The pair of slanted branches, observed nearby;
  10. The sound of something moving in the belt of woods;
  11. Linda and Jane’s observation of something large and reddish-brown, emerging from the woods;
  12. The same observation, of it ducking down in the tall grasses;
  13. Jane’s observation of something standing motionless in the belt of woods;
  14. My observation of something rust-coloured, which appeared and then disappeared;
  15. The enormous bang, which echoed all around us;
  16. The patch of grass, moving without any wind.

These behaviours, and the history of my own experiences, may be considered sufficient to suggest the presence of EC [4] in Walworth County in the summer of 2016.

A number of subjective events also occurred.  While these cannot be considered conclusive evidence, neither should they be discounted. Although it is reasonable to review the impact of non-objective stimuli in this Report, such effects, while personally quite vivid and at times overwhelming, are nonetheless nearly impossible to substantiate with any measure of certainty.

[4] EC, in this context, stands for ‘Elder Children’, as usual.
