Substantiation of this Report is minimal at best; I do not know of any other persons conducting field work in this specific portion of northern Michigan.  Some corroboration, however, may be provided by my own field work at Area C, which began in earnest in the late spring of 2014[1] [2] and which has continued, albeit at intervals, through 2015.[3] [4]

The combination of physical, visual, audible and/or olfactory events described in this Report are as follows:

  1. The strange, crying sounds heard in the woods;
  2. The pair of CMU observed in the clump of pine trees;
  3. The eerie quiet and stillness, experienced throughout;
  4. The strange, unusual phenomena of my shadow, observed on the main path;
  5. The sudden, brilliant flash of light observed in the woods;
  6. The sound of loud, heavy thrashing heard in the brush;
  7. The sound of loud snaps and cracks, ditto.

These behaviours, and the history of my own experiences,[5]  may be considered sufficient to suggest the presence of EC [6] at Area C, in the winter of 2015.

An unusual number of subjective events also occurred.  While these cannot be considered conclusive evidence, neither should they be discounted. Although it is reasonable to review the impact of non-objective stimuli in this Report, such effects, while personally quite vivid and at times overwhelming, are nonetheless nearly impossible to substantiate with any measure of certainty.
