Substantiation of this Report is minimal at best; I do not know of any other persons conducting field work in this specific portion of northern Michigan. Some corroboration, however, may be provided by my own field work at Area C, which began in earnest in the late spring of 2014[1] [2] and which has continued, albeit at intervals, through 2015.[3] [4]

The combination of physical, visual, audible and/or olfactory events described in this Report are as follows:

  1. The loud, thrashing noises in the brush, heard to the south of the park;
  2. The flicker of movement, observed to the east side of the meadow;
  3. The possible observation of a dark-brown shape ducking behind a tree;
  4. The sounds of movement in the brush;
  5. The loud, branch-cracking sound, heard to the south of the park;
  6. The loud, dull stomps, ditto;
  7. The second loud, branch-cracking sound;
  8. The sudden, loud bang, as though something heavy had been flung to the ground;
  9. The strange flicker of movement of something across the path.

These behaviours, and the history of my own experiences, may be considered sufficient to suggest the presence of EC [5] at Area C, in the late autumn of 2015.

An unusual number of subjective events also occurred. While these cannot be considered conclusive evidence, neither should they be discounted. Although it is reasonable to review the impact of non-objective stimuli in this Report, such effects, while personally quite vivid and at times overwhelming, are nonetheless nearly impossible to substantiate with any measure of certainty.
