Substantiation of this Report, and the behaviours described therein, may be provided, for the most part, by my own experiences at Area D in 2011, 2012, 2013 and through 2014.[1] [2] [3] [4] [5] [6] [7] I do not know of other encounters and/or sightings in this area. Nonetheless, a cursory review of same suggests considerable activity.

The combination of physical, visual, audible and/or olfactory events described in this Report are as follows:

  1. The possible modifications to the glyph assembly at the signpost;
  2. Ditto the small branch assembly nearby;
  3. The eerie quiet in the woods as I entered the reserve;
  4. The unidentified tracks observed on the main path;
  5. The strange phenomenon of my shadow, observed on the main path as being cast by an unseen light source;
  6. The strange disorientation experienced pertinent to the shadow phenomenon;
  7. The large tree, suspended over the ridge path;
  8. The curious reception of the green apples.

These factors, alone or in combination with past experience(s),[8] may be considered sufficient to confirm the presence of EC [9] at Area D in the early autumn of 2014. I have since returned to this area numerous times,[10] where I have experienced some startling observations and encounters. Further investigation may provide additional information regarding possible habitation in this area, either permanent or itinerant.

The encounter with the two men on the high dune may be considered, quite frankly, a highly dangerous situation, which might have had fatal consequences. I should have known better than to investigate a heavily wooded reserve at the start of the season, whether hunting was legally permitted there or no.

A number of subjective events also occurred. While these cannot be considered conclusive, neither should they be discounted. Although it is reasonable to review the impact of non-objective stimuli in this Report, such effects, while personally quite vivid and at times overwhelming, are nonetheless nearly impossible to substantiate with any measure of certainty.

[9] EC, in this context, stands for “Elder Children”, as usual.

[10] Not as many times as I should have liked, but, well, there you have it.
