Substantiation of this Report is minimal at best; I do not know of any other persons conducting research in this area of Wisconsin. Some corroboration, however, may be provided by my own field work at Kelmarsh, which began in earnest in the summer of 2013[1] [2] [3]and which continued, at intervals, through the early winter of 2014.

The combination of physical, visual, audible and/or olfactory events described in this Report are as follows:

  1. The soft, wood-tapping sounds, repeated several times as I entered the reserve;
  2. The unusually crafted branch assemblies, observed south of the main path;
  3. The three twisted-off trees, one larger and two smaller, all oriented to the northwest;
  4. The old gentleman with his dog, whose response to my questions seemed rather curious;
  5. The large, upright grey shadow, which moved through the trees on the northeast path;
  6. The large, dark shape swaying back and forth on the southeast path.

These behaviours, and the history of my own experiences, may be considered sufficient to suggest the presence of EC [4] at Kelmarsh, in the early winter of 2014.

A number of subjective events also occurred. While these cannot be considered conclusive evidence, neither should they be discounted. Although it is reasonable to review the impact of non-objective stimuli in this Report, such effects, while personally quite vivid and at times overwhelming, are nonetheless nearly impossible to substantiate with any measure of certainty.
