Substantiation of this Report is minimal at best; I do not know of any other persons conducting research in this area of Wisconsin. There are no published reports for Rock County on the BFRO website, although two reports for adjacent Dane County are available.[1]

The combination of physical, visual, audible and/or olfactory events described in Part One of this Report are:

  1. The reported, possible EC activity in the area;
  2. The observation of movement in the brush;
  3. The observation of a tall, grey figure, ducking back and forth between the trees;
  4. The possible slanted-branch assembly observed in the trees.

The combination of physical, visual, audible and/or olfactory events described in Part Two of this Report are:

  1. The pair of loud, clear whoops heard at the bottom of the ravine;
  2. The large, vertical ‘X’ formation observed in the woods;
  3. The smaller ‘star’ or ‘asterisk’ branch assemblies observed nearby;
  4. The strange-looking man, who appeared suddenly on the path;
  5. The feeling of dizziness or disorientation experienced in the woods;
  6. The long, sawn-off trunk positioned in the crook of an upright, living tree;
  7. The large, unusually shaped tree with twisted, distorted branches;
  8. The series of strange, three-clawed tracks impressed deeply into the path;
  9. The returning feeling of disorientation experienced in the woods;
  10. The malfunctioning camera;
  11. The sounds of movement in the reeds, at the base of the ridge;
  12. The large, dark shadow observed in the same area;
  13. The additional, three-clawed tracks observed in the mud;
  14. The strong disorientation experienced in the woods.

These behaviours, and the history of my own experiences, may be considered sufficient to suggest the presence of EC[2] and possibly DM[3] at Magnolia Bluff County Park, in the autumn of 2013.

The strange-looking man I observed in the woods cannot be readily explained; quite honestly, I am not certain that I wish to examine him too closely. I do not know who he was, or why he was there, or how he suddenly appeared on the path, or even why my camera would not operate in his presence.[4]

The increasingly severe disorientation experienced at the park, both on the ridge and at its base, may be considered a personal infrasound event, lacking any other definition; however, it did not prevent me from continuing my field work that afternoon. Such effect upon my physical and perceptive senses suggest some type of sensory manipulation, although any further clarification is almost impossible to confirm.

An unusual number of subjective events also occurred. While these cannot be considered conclusive evidence, neither should they be discounted. Although it is reasonable to review the impact of non-objective stimuli in this Report, such effects, while personally quite vivid and at times overwhelming, are nonetheless nearly impossible to substantiate with any measure of certainty.

[2] EC, in this context, stands for “Elder Children”, as usual.

[3] For various reasons, which I cannot disclose here, I prefer to address this creature by its initials, rather than its full name.
