Substantiation of this Report is minimal at best; I do not know of any other persons conducting research in this area of Wisconsin. Some corroboration, however, may be provided by my own field work at Kelmarsh, which began in earnest in the summer of 2013 and which continued, at intervals, through the early winter of 2014.

The combination of physical, visual, audible and/or olfactory events described in this Report are as follows:

  1. The strong feeling, albeit subjective, of being watched as I entered the reserve;
  2. The utter stillness and quiet in the woods;
  3. The sounds of movement in the brush, following me as I walked;
  4. The numerous branch assemblies, observed on both sides of the path;
  5. The smaller branch assemblies, observed deep in the woods;
  6. The curious slanted-branch assembly, observed in the marsh;
  7. The large ‘X’ formation, observed in the woods;
  8. The large slanted-branch assembly, observed near the gate;
  9. The dark-coloured EC observed in the woods;
  10. The large, sand-coloured EC observed in the woods.

These behaviours, and the history of my own experiences, may be considered sufficient to suggest the presence of EC [1] at Kelmarsh, in the summer of 2013.

A number of subjective events also occurred. While these cannot be considered conclusive evidence, neither should they be discounted. Although it is reasonable to review the impact of non-objective stimuli in this Report, such effects, while personally quite vivid and at times overwhelming, are nonetheless nearly impossible to substantiate with any measure of certainty.

[1] EC, in this context, stands for “Elder Children”, as usual.
