Substantiation of this Report may be provided by the eyewitness testimony of the family residing at Area K during the summer of 2012,[1][2] and by the reports of other visitors to the farm during that period; these included Russian cryptozoologist Dr Igor Bourtsev, at various times and dates.

Further substantiation may also be provided by my own field work at Area K, which also began in the summer of 2011 and continued, at somewhat regular intervals, through the autumn of 2012, when the farm was sold. In July of that year, I spent several days at the farm, during which time an unusual number of events occurred.

By the summer of 2012, several members of the family, as well as certain and various researchers and/or enthusiasts such as myself, were uniquely aware that a significant population of EC was residing on the property; direct, visual sightings of several individuals, during this time, permitted some clarification and identification of same. Further visits to the farm during this period also evidenced increasing physical, visual, audible and/or olfactory behaviours, vis-a-vis visual sightings, auditory and olfactory experiences, and physical traces, including branch assemblies, footprints, hair samples, et al.

The combination of physical, visual, audible and/or olfactory events described in this Report are as follows:

  1. The reported, nightly disappearance of food from the locked cage at the feeding station;[3]
  2. The numerous new, delicately fashioned and interwoven branch assemblies in the south woods;
  3. The strange, crow-like calls heard to the southwest;[4]
  4. The sounds of heavy movement in the brush;[5]
  5. The dismantled Nest assembly in the pine grove;
  6. The children’s basketball, with a clear, large bite mark upon it;
  7. The manipulated wire fencing, which bordered the pasture;
  8. The areas of flattened-down grass, on both sides of the fence; [6]
  9. The additional sounds of movement in the brush;
  10. The large, unusually-shaped and coloured cloud floating over the farmhouse;
  11. The loud, rattling sound in the front woods;
  12. The frog-like calls, in the front woods;
  13. The crow-like calls, in the front woods;[7]
  14. The additional sounds of movement in the front woods;
  15. The floating lights in the woods; [8]
  16. The large, dark shape which approached my vehicle.

These behaviours, and the history of my own experiences, may be considered sufficient confirmation of the presence of EC [9] at Area K, in the summer of 2012.

Little or no conclusive statement can be made regarding either the large, unusually-shaped cloud or the possibility of a personal infrasound event related to same. In context, it is reasonable to associate both with the strange recordings played by the wife on her mobile; however, this cannot now be confirmed.

A number of other subjective events occurred. While these cannot be considered conclusive evidence, neither should they be discounted. Although it is reasonable to review the impact of non-objective stimuli in this Report, such effects, while personally quite vivid and at times overwhelming, are nonetheless nearly impossible to substantiate with any measure of certainty.

[3] So noted because no direct, visual observation was made of this behaviour.

[4] Although not observed directly, similar bird-like calls have been widely reported, pertinent to EC encounters. Bigfoot Encounters Author(s). Greenberry, Benton County Oregon, March 2002. Bigfoot Encounters.

[8] Accounts of strange, flashing lights in the woods, pertinent to EC encounters, are not uncommon; however, they are almost incomprehensible, and therefore must be classified, for the purposes of this Report, as inexplicable phenomena. [9] EC, in this context, stands for “Elder Children”, as usual.
