Substantiation of this Report is minimal, at best; as indicated previously, there are no published reports of encounters and/or sightings for Van Buren County on the BFRO website.[1]

The combination of physical, visual, audible and/or olfactory events described in this Report are as follows:

  1. The large area of flattened-down grass, sheltered on the north side of the swamp forest;
  2. The numerous deer bones scattered upon the grass;
  3. The sound of loud, heavy breathing, directly behind me;
  4. The sound of loud, heavy stomping on the ground, directly behind me;
  5. The sound of loud, heavy footsteps, walking away through the swamp forest.

Based upon these behaviours, and the history, not only of my own experience[2] but also that of my host, it is reasonable to suggest the presence of EC[3] at Watson Hill Farm in some manner.

A number of subjective events also occurred at Watson Hill Farm; while these cannot be considered conclusive evidence of EC, they should not be discounted in their entirety. Nonetheless, they may be considered as peripheral, and therefore possibly pertinent, to the physical, visual, audible and/or olfactory events outlined above.

I took no photographs or recordings, and collected no physical evidence.[4] Accordingly, this Report must be considered inconclusive, at best, with a possibility of EC interaction that must remain, sadly, unproven.

[3] EC, in this context, stands for “Elder Children”, as usual.

[4] A portion of the blame must be affixed to the appalling weather; I was certainly not going to risk my good cameras.
